Intense SuperTuscan wine made from Sangiovese and Malvesia nera. Dark red fruits, some notes of plum and deep, well integrated tannins that give it great structure. Plenty of acidity to stand up to our Basel tomato soup and made it a great pairing.

October 24, 2020. Dinner w/ Jack D, he brought the wine. 85% Sangiovese, 15% Malvasia Nero. Decant as it opens up beautifully. Black cherry & herbs. Beautiful aroma. Smooth.

One of the better super Tuscan’s I’ve had in a while. Opened and drank it. It could have benefitted from being decanted for an hour or so as it was still a little tight but I didn’t have time... in a couple of years, this will be incredible.
