Castello di Bossi
Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend
2013. Solid enough Sangiovese, medium-bodied at best but with cherry tartness and some acid to stand up to food. Nice for the price. $18-20 all over.

Jul 7th, 2020Nicely balanced Chianti. Light body but still has some decent tannins. Classic taste. Definitely has a developing and interesting long finish. Buy again.

Feb 11th, 2018Seems like every Chianti I drink is drawing from the same playbook: dusty cherry, full of soil, kind of juicy but ultimately comes off as “rustic” like that’s supposed to make it romantic. The problem is they want $20 (or close to it) per bottle and it’s worth more like $10 or so
