Vigna Santo Stefano Barbera d'Alba

Lovely wine from a lovely family of winemakers. Robust acidity and cherry overtones. Glad we opened it.

Dark fruit and tons of spice. Pretty tight tannins that are easily softened by aerating. Really nice wine. Works well with red sauce pastas.

Rich plummy fruit with a hint of tobacco leaf. Full-bodied with ripe tannins. Comes from a vineyard primarily planted with grapes for Barbaresco. Good juice. Cc @Trevor Donoghue nifty barbera
