Tar and tobacco, cranberries, tea, leather, wet cedar bark, some thyme and herbs, pretty silky with present, but-not-dominating tannins. May have been a touch cold. From Flatiron Wines.

Add it to deals I need to buy a case of. So definitive and showy in my favorite Piedmont vintage. You've got a heavy menthol cherry nose with faint truffle salt, faint grass.. More aggressive than your middle of the road barb. Not as much florality/rose here. But the three things that sell this: multitude of cranberries, leather focused, and a slap of dirty ol chewing tobacco👅 $40 killer barb = sexy,, 10 more years ahead at least.
