Leave it alone for a long time! A lot darker than I would expect from Cavallotto. Carried a lot of weight showing dark fruit, tar, and tobacco. It’s not as elegant as I would have expected. Let’s see how it does over the next 10.

Oliver McCrum tasting. The two bottles of 2011 I tasted today, the other being Vinfolio, they both had a roasted nose. Like it, but I have only had Cavalotto from 06, 07, and 08, so this was a surprise.
