'93 was such a shitty year worldwide in wine and I know because I've hunted for my birth year wine. WELL I FINALLY GOT ONE. This wasn't bad, someone shared it at work tonight and I got a nice rhyolite minerality run through with some black fruits and cassis. There is a touch of spice and a good amount of licorice I've come to expect with Caymus wines. Must say this could've waited a few more years, still felt young.

1993 opened Dec 2016 - needed about an hour in a decanter for the eucalyptus to really start coming through! Lovely!
