Vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and wonderful ripe fruit. Calistoga fruit at it's best.

It's as if every year Caymus gets a little sweeter. Not the biggest fan of the jamminess in this' 2013 vintage of their Zin. Nonetheless, It's still not a bad wine.

Caymus never disappoints 👌🍷

Corked! Very badly. Surprised how few guests identified a badly corked wine.

We tried the 2013 Caymus & 2017 Rombauer (El Dorado) zins side by side and Caymus was the clear winner. Good length, the fruit on the Caymus was more integrated, much smoother and overall more pleasing than the Rombauer. The Caymus doesn’t have as much spice as traditional zins. Both very solid wines however.

Smells like stinky cheese but very smooth and easy on the palate.

Deep plumb and berry. First time up in the McGee wine loft. What a way to break it in! Love it.

The level of ripeness that is ubiquitous with this winery really works well with Zinfandel. Very ripe and drinkable.
