The effervescence throws you at first, but dissipates after a bit. The spice is most enjoyable thing, slightly bitter, bitterness lingers. Different, but doesn't go very well with protein.

Not very expressive on the nose but makes up for it I the palate. Dense and brooding with nice fruit and driving finish. $12.74 G

Excellent, intense flavored dark red. A nice change from Napa cabs. We enjoyed with a seafood cioppino.

Goes well with red meat.

Hell of a wine for $20! 👍👍
