#2 Our first tipple of 2018! Mr. Spittoon and I enjoyed this Champas with cheese 🧀, tomato 🍅 and bacon 🥓 croissants 🥐 for brunch 👌 The French inspired food went with the Champagne superbly 🇫🇷

I picked up this bottle of @beaujoieaustralia Champagne at Auckland Airport for about $100 Duty Free. It’s made up of 60% Pinot & 40% Chardonnay, 3 years on lees and 1 year in the bottle before release. There’s no denying the copper-coated bottle armour stood out to me and it was nice to find out what’s inside was pretty good too.

It’s a pale golden colour in the glass with a hint of peach. On the nose it’s biscuity with sweet florals and lemon honey 🍯- very fresh and enticing pre-noon with that bit of sweetness. In the mouth it’s juicy and smooth to drink with citrus, nectarine and a hint of vanilla. I’d buy it again!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine

Dry with soft minerality and nice depth. Nothing too sharp.

Great nose. Nice weight on the palate. Finish falls dead flat.
