I remember tasting chanin at big sur food & wine and it was much crisper linear than this- here a touch too marked by oak and diacetyl character for my admittedly strange and oak-phobic palate . Perhaps the vintage? Perhaps evolution of style, or it was the other Chardonnay- Los alamos?

Apr 21st, 2014Wow, the best Chardonnay I've tasted in a while, rich like lemon custard with a clean citrus pith finish, awesome with our grilled salmon and morel pasta,
Superb!
