Nov 7th, 2015Garnet color with hints of brown. Orange rim. Noticeable color extraction in the tears. Black cherry, strawberry, red cassis on the nose. Also nutmeg, anise, clove, leather, and earth. On the palate, strong acidity and tannins that soften as the wine continues to decant. Lingering baking spice notes and heat on the way down.
