Syrupy nose of smoke, molasses, and pepper. Very smooth, smoky palate. Pepper, butter tart (because we’re in Canada), roasted red pepper, unsweetened dark chocolate on the palate. Soft lingering tannins. Thank you Dad for buying these wines and aging them to perfection. I acknowledge the depth and complexity but it’s not my taste.
