I’ve read the other comments and I sort of disagree. ‘83 was a classic year in Bordeaux. This is Classic Mouton Rothschild. The wine is fully aged, but it evolved after being opened and decanted for an hour. The fruit came out and the wine showed great power. It was delightful!

Classic Lafite. Hard to put into words. It was delicate yet still powerful. I’ve had the wine in my cellar since a year or so after release. We were stunned at how well it had aged…45?years old and still retained its fruit. It was worth the wait — 6 months ago

On the eve of Linda’s 75th birthday we drank Margaux of the same vintage. The last time we tasted this wine was at its peak in 1988. I was pleasantly surprised that it was still delicious. Good fruit…past peak, but amazing at 75! — 3 years ago
