Classic Bordeaux, linear structure, elegant, cedar, cassis, cigarbox and damp earth and dried leaves. What a joy to drink, still alive and will keep its drinking quality easily for another 8-10 years.

Very elegant wine...this was a 1995 so opening on New Year's Day 2015 seemed appropriate. Subtle tobacco notes on the nose with a pleasant cherry sweetness on the palate and a finish that lasted 60 seconds or more. I was frankly worried that the wine was past it's prime so an upside surprise.
