Château Carbonnieux
Grand Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend
This was the first bottle we had on Thanksgiving. I really found this to be a nice Bordeaux. The nose was a bit tight but I was able to pick up dark fruit like black plum, black raspberries, and tobacco. On the palate I found it very pleasing. The black plum, black raspberries, hints of rose petal, and sweet tobacco. The tannins were right where I like them, not over powering but giving that nice drying effect and some good acidity. I truly enjoyed this wine.
