Deep and dark flavors — currant, jammy blueberry, long pruney finish. Brooding and chewy in the best way on day two. Kinda boozy though. Lots of life ahead for the other bottle I’ve got on hand.

Perfect if a little young. Violet, berry, moderate acidity and tannins. Evolved over time and paired with Piece Pizzeria black olive and Italian sausage red pizza. Cheers!

It is quite an indulgence to finally be able to tank up on this Pomerol, especially after tipping, then renouncing so many bottles of domestic reds in recent days. Merlot/ Cab Franc blends, especially by Chateaux like this one, just simply reinvigorate the soul primed for disappointment.
Plums, cherries, licorice, chocolate, black raspberries.
