Leathery and earthy, dark fruits and quite tannic. After an hour and a half it's showing very nicely. Last bottle.

Black currant, meat juice, leather, earth. That's quite masculine and muscular. The palate is well made with a good acid backbone, a beautiful black currant note, a good width and some fatty, greasy mouthfeel, a spherical mid palate with already partially resolved tannins and a good, long finish with currant and that greasy, fat layer. Not your typical Saint Estephe but I've had worse in better vintages
