A great find. A little something for everyone to like here. Lots of blackberry fruit accented with pepper, smoke, and tobacco. Big and bold, yet interesting. A sleeper.

Tar, cedar, spices, tobacco a bit, blackberry, black currant, a bit of mint too. There is a bit of oak too. The palate is well structured with a strong acid backbone, lots of matter all along with a nice soft touch on the sides. Then come the tannins wich are still very lively and pointy. They add a complex layer wich turns to a bit of bitter finish, with a pinch of salt, some meat juice, some black currant too. Below 9 for the finish which is a bit hard and unresolved/unresolved

Drank 1/1/18. Happy New Year!! Great pairing with a flank steak with green onion vinaigrette. Decanted 1 hour.
Very nice, classic bordeaux nose of cassis, plums, and a touch of graphite and worn oak. Medium palate of black fruits, with plum, cassis, tar, and just a touch of green pepper, that is not distracting, but pairs beautifully with the vinaigrette. Medium to long finish. Open now, but could also age for 10 years. @JT u need some of this in your life.

Deep ruby, soft dried black fruits, mouth filling tannins, very balanced, graceful, a note of earthy complexity, lingering aftertaste. Elegant and thoughtfully composed. $25
