I don’t drink much Bordeaux, not sure why. Maybe the choices are a bit overwhelming for me 🤷‍♀️ this one is medium bodied, has smooth tannins, not much fruit.

Slightly wet hay and farmyard rain

Medium bodied with cassis, black cherry skin, Black olive, tart cranberry. Gritty tannins wrap this everyday wine up.Easy going and very approachable.

Definitely a bad choice for mulled wine - but good on its own especially at the price. I’d recommend letting it open for about 5 hours before drinking.

Some unprovocative wood, muddled berries, really tight. I think it’s a good entry level Bordeaux for some novices that could get wrecked by some bigger wines from the area.

A blended Bordeaux- but one that does not disappoint for the price point. Dark, earthy & a dry yet light touch tobacco finish that reveals a fading wave of mature red fruit that lingers like the fading water sinking into the sand on a beach as the water recedes. Open this up a bit, and pair with a strong cheese or red meat. Enjoy the trip to France!

Love this wine! Will be getting more, so sessionable... we drank this faster than usual because it was so exceptionally smooth.
