Over the hill and not great. Dark copper color with some gold tones. Nose and body contained too much “chlorine” that overwhelmed the honey and butterscotch. There were also some out of place peach flavors. Bottom quartile Sauternes. Could only stomach two glasses.

What you would expect from a great producer in a great vintage. Complex with expected apricot and honey, but also orange peel and secondary flavors from the oak barrel. Highly recommended.
