Cuvée des Lys Tavel Rosé Blend

Rhonsé. Interesting. Big mouth feel compared to the majority of rosé I've had.

Simple yet pleasant fruit. A little dull - could use more acidity - and some heat on the finish.

2014 - Complex enough for food but simple enough for quaffing

Loads of strawberries and watermelon and they need time to surface. Tasty on Day 1, better on Day 2! (Rating for Day 2.)

Quite stunning rose blend.

Wonderful combination of bright fruit and structure. People sometimes forget that rosés are red wines, but this wine was a wonderful partner for a roast lamb and eggplant dish. Have this wine with food, and enjoy!

Chateau de Manissy, Tavel rose, Cuvee des Lys. Salmon rose coloration. Very pretty color. On the nose, red berry, cherry and florals. On the palate, red berries, strawberries, minerals, florals, nice fuller body and full mouthfeel.

Tart bing cherry up front, licorice in the back, or it could be heat. Lacking a litttle acidity
