Beautifully done #Gamay from #Brouilly. You get some cranberries on the nose that translate on the palate. Tart and dry with some mild hints of savory flavors deep down. There is a little bit of funkiness going on but nothing too over the top or offensive. Truly enjoyable on its own and would imagine his going well with Thanksgiving and the assortment of other savory dishes.

Oct 30th, 2017Actually the non-reserve 2012 of this Chateau was better!! I am picking up tart cranberries..wet rocks...nice acidity..kind of muted! 2011 vintage...update I had a second bottle of this ...after having a glass..vacuum pumped and a couple days in the fridge it opened up quite nicely... nicely balanced...yummy Gamay!!
