Walloping right out of the bottle. Settles down with some air. Drinkability, not complexity. Delicious with turkey chili.

80% merlot, 20% cab franc. Approachable, inky; cab franc shows through. Berry, chocolate and nutty character. Medium body, tight and dense fruit, chewy tannins.

Unpretentious red blend that made a wonderful first impression. Silky smooth and easily drinkable. Winner all around.

First glass berry flavor dry. One hour decant and this wine is great. Smothe makes your mouth salivate very easy drinking.

Fresh grass, maraschino cherry, minerally mouth, so pretty finish. Dries up and then melts.
