Château Figeac
St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend
On its way down. Popped and poured. Good balance but length is not great nor is complexity. Lack of secondary and tertiary flavors made this wine uninteresting. Flavors of prune, cherry and leather. Made for a reasonable lunch wine

Jun 17th, 2017I preferred this on same evening to the Lynch-Bages same vintage. Still have some nice dark fruit left with the same smokey and black tea complexities and much more texture and depth for me. Great example of finely aged Bordeaux.
