2016 vintage. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (49%, Merlot (49%) and Petit Verdot(2%). As it's holding back a lot initially, take your time or decant. Classic nose with cassis and cedarwood. Medium-bodied, high acidity, clean fruit, and good length with a mineral touch. Tannins are a little rough, better with food. Needs time. Certainly a good wine, but I believe there is much more potential here given the quality of the vineyards. With the new owner since 2019 exciting times are to be expected for this estate. Abv. 13%.
