I let this sit for a while before I opened up another bottle. Been about 7 mos. Still a bit austere; still awesome. Bursting with great secondary flavors of mushroom, olive and earth. Only wish I had several more bottles. Have 1 left.

You can tell this is a quintessential Bordeaux from a mile away. A solid backbone of fruit quickly gives way to tons of funky music - mushroom, olive, wet earth, and awesomeness. Medium-bodied; smooth. The finish is long, loamy, and mouth-puckering. A sleeper - this is seriously underrated. You can find it for around $20. Just got it at Costco. Stock up.
