Unlike the Genot the wood here is noticeable on the first sniff. However, it is not intrusive and blends beautifully with the honey and peach notes. In the mouth the nose continues to the palate but is joined by citrus nuances. No rush to drink but in a great spot.

Feb 7th, 2023Enjoying some bottles along side the warmth of the chimenea, today is a brief respite for the seasonal weather, tomorrow brings snow again.
A typical P-F in my opinion, a little more oak influence than I typically like, but it's growing on me. It's young and had about an hour decant already, but still needs more air.
