In southern Burgundy, at the northern border of Beaujolais, lies the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of stone fruits, melon and lemon citrus, showing subtle vanilla oak tones. The finish has lively acidity and ends with a touch of minerality. — 7 months ago

From my goldfish-like memory, this was quintessential burg, with the usual nosebleed coming along for the ride. Notes of crème brûlée combine with a waxy mouthfeel. Muted acidity indicates that you need to be in a certain frame of mind to approach this. — 2 years ago

A nice minerality, lemon and its zest, a hint of green apple, a perfect amount of oak and touch of butteriness but definitely restrained as one would expect in an old world Chardonnay. Lovely. — a month ago
