Gorgeous! Incredibly fresh with youthful vigor and classic Paulliac aromatic layers and a rich and concentrated palate with grippy tannins still! This one calls for a nice juicy steak!

Showed well out of Magnum. Classic aged claret with tobacco, dried espresso and flowers. Good concentration still, but feel that would only be because from magnum. A 750ml a couple of years ago was more advanced than this, as on would expect

Very nice wine though still closed and needing time~maybe 5 to 10 years. The tightness made it lass interesting as a pairing wine with the game ( wild Canadian pigeon and duck) we enjoyed with it. Still the underlying wine is very well made and should show well with time.

Earthy, mineral, mature dark fruits, drinking beautifully tonight, balanced, medium-long finish, terrific 1986 Bordeaux!!
