Old Mission Peninsula Gamay Noir

We were not expecting to find on a wine like this on a list in Greenville, SC.

This Lovely little Gamay from MICHIGAN does not disappoint!

I love finds like this. And I am not a fan of the gamay grape

Found this wine on the list by the glass in Virginia! Had to try it. I am a supporter of southwest Michigan wine, but never made it up to Grand traverse. This nose on this wine is all perfume and fresh fruit. Brighter than any Michigan wine I have ever had. Complimented our Lambs and Clams entree amazingly!

Surprisingly delightful.

Gamay from Michigan, who knew! Light velvet in color. Bright and aromatic. Tart cherry and cranberry. Soft and silky. Appropriate acidity.

Young. Bright. Pepper. Versatility similar to that of Pinot noir.
