From mag. Very pretty and precise. Super clear and lifted. Chalk, slate. Detailed set notes. Persistent but super pure. Lovely stuff.

First growth SB cuz we country clubbin’. Viscosity and complexity for days. Light amber in the mid day sun, Yeasty wet barley aromatics, candied pear, marzipan and honey (yes! @David L you are spot on there). This isn’t for everybody and it doesn’t have light clean lines but it is a perfect representation of this Bordeaux blend and I enjoyed it while putting horrendously with @Mike R @Shawn R @David L it’s been so damn fun reconnecting with @Joe Lucca @Martin G Rivard @Carl Fischer @Kirk Alexander and meeting Rutgers finest @ADAM STROMFELD

From the cellar - at first seemed a touch oxidized but cleared after a minute or two. Golden color with waxed apple and lemon tart. Tremendous acidity carries the long finish of zesty citrus.

Slightly marmalade colored. Signs of oxidation. Lovely mouthfeel and good tension but less brightness and dazzle than you’d expect... not showing at its best.

@Bill Bender does it again. Always the distinguished gentlemen. Tied with the Astéroide as my wines of the afternoon. This is totally my palate; petrol, beeswax, roasted chestnut, honey. Old world is new again.

Pine needles & luscious. Off my beaten path, but wow this is good. Maybe the most enjoyable Bordeaux Blanc I've tasted.
