Feb 9th, 2023First growth SB cuz we country clubbin’. Viscosity and complexity for days. Light amber in the mid day sun, Yeasty wet barley aromatics, candied pear, marzipan and honey (yes! @David L you are spot on there). This isn’t for everybody and it doesn’t have light clean lines but it is a perfect representation of this Bordeaux blend and I enjoyed it while putting horrendously with @Mike R @Shawn R @David L it’s been so damn fun reconnecting with @Joe Lucca @Martin G Rivard @Carl Fischer @Kirk Alexander and meeting Rutgers finest @ADAM STROMFELD

Nov 11th, 2017From the cellar - at first seemed a touch oxidized but cleared after a minute or two. Golden color with waxed apple and lemon tart. Tremendous acidity carries the long finish of zesty citrus.

Dec 3rd, 2023最初の香りの印象はシダーウッドと少しほこりっぽさを感じたが、デキャンタ後30分位から、ブラックベリー、森の下草の香りが厚みを増す。その後はチョコレートや熟成香、タバコ、皮、キノコなど、第二、第三アロマが充満してきた。
味わいはフルボディだがエレガントで酸はほどよくタンニンはこなれている。
ピークを少し過ぎたところか。

Feb 7th, 2018@Bill Bender does it again. Always the distinguished gentlemen. Tied with the Astéroide as my wines of the afternoon. This is totally my palate; petrol, beeswax, roasted chestnut, honey. Old world is new again.
