Château La Tour Carnet
Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, France
Vintage 2003 | brown rim, intense and beautiful smell with many layers: autumn leaves, Scottish tobacco, impressions of chocolate, cassis, a velvety taste. Needs no longer to be cellared, a Point. Paired with zucchini tarts and lamsrack from the grill.

Vintage 2003 - The complex smell is a clear benefit of this wine. Pencil shaving, cherries, plums as well as chocolate. Leather also. One could persist only smelling the wine, on the tongue it has quailities as well. A clearly sweet touch - 2003 is rich! - with red fruit, good acidity. It made me very happy. Partnered it with a rumpsteak and mushrooms.

18 years old and also 18 years young. There is a history here, with a future ahead. This wine came a long way baby! Fruit of the forest, licorice, incredibly rich and bursting with life. Voluptuous and warm, coffee, butterscotch, powdery and integrated tannin. It’s shining. Cheers Floor. Here’s to adulthood!
