On the palate this is very savoury, peppery, leathery with a nice grippy tannic structure and mellowed fruit (plums!) & softened acidity.
This has evolved very nicely and is actually drinking really nicely right now.

Sprightly for a 2005 right bank. Punchy nose and lively palate that still exudes youth. Red fruits and berries with consistent flavours of vanilla and cedar. Nice subtle flavors with slightly more than medium tannins. Great drinking but could wait a couple more years. Should easily cellar for another 6 years.
