Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

I have to agree with Michel Rolland. Still my favorite of the night.

Very dark ruby. Crimson around the rim. On the nose, currant, cherry, tobacco, strong florals, perhaps lilac. Very lovely bouquet- very fragrant nose. On the palate, currants, tobacco, vanilla, florals and oak. Medium-Full body, nicely balanced. Tannins still present after 8 years. Long finish of florals and oak.

Young. Black cherry. A little funk at the opening that softened as it sat. Paired well with filet.
