1982: Fully mature example. Leather, sauvage, roast beef and soy. Have tasted 3 bottles over last 3 years, this was further developed. Can still be sublime.

Just a faint trace of TCA, but still lovely, youthful redfruits, this will last awhile, but not quite as complex as the prior 3 1982s!

Drinking beautifully. Beautiful brownish rim, nose still fresh and lively, but with secondary notes clearly shining through. Super soft tannins. Showing exactly why this wine is such a great buy, and not just in great years like this.
