Ouverture à l'improviste après le travail, nez superbe, un peu carré encore en bouche. Loin d'être sur son déclin!

Opened June 2021. Nice with some air. Much better when decanted two days. Dark fruits, tobacco, lead pencil, long finish.

Very nice Bordeaux. The nose is dark and brooding with graphite, blackberries and black currants. The mouthfeel is smooth with notes of black fruits, tobacco and some star anise. Good juice still with a lot of potential cellar life.

Great example of a value Pessac! This 2000 vintage with four hours in the decanter showing nice minerality and red fruit albeit a bit simple

Great Bordeaux! Medium-bodied and very balanced, showing cherry, some black currant, some blackberry, some cranberry, leather, tobacco, spices, autumn leaves, some liquorice and a hint of chocolate, paired with medium-plus lively acidity, medium-plus very fine tannin and incredible length. Drank well and should continue to drink well for 10+ years. Ginished the bottle in no time. 92

Decanted for about two hours. Dark ruby in colour. Cherry, blackberry, black currant, graphite as well as hints of cedarwood, tobacco and mocha on the nose. On the palate the wine showed cherry, blackberry, black currant and earthy notes as well as hints of tobacco and mocha, paired with medium-plus lively acidity, medium-plus fine, well-integrated tannin and very good length. The firm, medium-bodied, medium-complex wine was elegant and very balanced, yet lacked the little extra to make it special. Drink now and over the next ten years. 90
