Tad tired. Leathery. Rustic tannins , a bit bitter. Old for its years. Mushrooms. Forest floor.

Wow. This guy shed its youthfulness within the hour after it went into the decanter. Evolved several times over the next two into a real treat. Dark fruit, cedar, leather, lavender. Scent geek stuff. Silky tannic grip emerged to frame dark fruit, tobacco/mint, a l’il spice box. This producer delivers every time for me. Quickly becoming my go to Bordeaux house. Awesome again.

2016 vintage. From Coravin. Medium body. Phenomenal smoky, mineral nose. Almost all traces of the baby fat gone. Transitioning from the teen years into young adulthood but still visiting the parents to do laundry on occasion. Tannins picking up and slowly becoming more pronounced. Need to taste this again in a year or two. Very promising. 5.9.24.

Wow! Very impressive wine this in a dream vintage for Margaux. Smells like black forest gateau and is so balanced on the palate. Would definately recommend!

Gentle aroma including oak, black currant, tobacco. Mid and elegant body. Started from one hour decanting. 1.5 hours, a bit smooth with coffee nuance. 2 hours fruity aroma, acidic feeling and tanning showed up. 2.5 hours it turned to be smooth with warm aroma. 2016 in 2020. Keep it for long. @2400, Medoc - XH, 200915-201016
