Still hanging in there! Such a treat! Thank you to my generous friend John Slattery.! Roasted peanuts, dark soft plummy fruit. Nice acidity. Tannin totally resolved. A little minerally on the lively finish.

Just ok

Primal fruit, a bit discordant, short finish-some paper overtones.

From Margaux's weak period. Dried out and vegetal. Lacking any elegance or depth or attractive elements.

A little past it's prime, but a nice piece of history.

Bretty, almost Haut Brion like

1966 vintage. Mid-shoulder fill. Opened with a Durand and pretty stellar, aging cork extracted. Curious nose. Not decanted. Tasted 15 minutes, 45 minutes and 1.5 hours after opening. Light body. Slightly prunish for some time. Picked up a half-step at the second visit thinking things might lightly improve. They. Did. Not. This specimen was a disappointment as was the first bottle with a substantially, lower fill (yes, there was a backup '66 bottle). 8.14.26.
