Delicious and inexpensive AOC Bordeaux. Fragrant nose has weedy but ripe cassis, light crushed stone minerality. Very pure smelling. Intense and vibrant fruit in the mouth. Just at the cusp of ripeness so there’s no mistaking this for a new world Bordeaux blend. Very light on its feet for so much flavor intensity. A wee bit of tannin to ensure a few years’ development. Nice acids. What a value this is!
