bouquet of musty earth, wood , leather, charcuterie, kalamta, dried herbs, ripe blackberry, black cherry, faint black licorice
.....this starts with a jab of acid- but mellows into black mulch, black plums, and ripe blueberries... very earthy with plump clingy tannins and some real herbal bitterness in the finish.

2010 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Medium plus aroma intensity. Black ripe fruits, plush black plum, vanilla essence and caramel. Youthful. Medium plus acidity, body and alcohol. Medium tannins - coarse and mouth puckering. Astringent, almost sour blackberry and plum. Less ripe in palate than nose. Slight greenness here. Decent length and bitter finish. Come back in five years or so.
