A tad ripe and cloying for my palate. More reminiscent of a Napa style that doesn't speak too much of its own terroir. Been like this for a while it seems. But enjoy it nonetheless.

#halfbottle #stemillion Needs to be drunk now - lacks structure and nuance. But still enjoyable!

Very pleased with this as first of a case. This should continue to improve for a number of years.

This was fun to drink. After a couple hours of decanting, it opened up and had deep dark fruits, plenty of acidity and tannin - probably had more life left in the bottle. There was only a hint of age on the finish, but I wonder whether another hour or two of decanting may have burned that off. Quite nice overall.
