A much better showing than my last bottle from nearly three years ago. Popped and poured; consumed over two days. While this delivered from the start, I found it most enjoyable on the second day. Dark cherries reminiscent of a kriekenlambiek, pencil shavings, tobacco, earth. Deft balance. Tannins have integrated at this point. I thought it was a very high quality Cru Bourgeois and easily worthy of the sub-$50 price.

Kirsch, forest floor, pencil shavings. Tannins are heavy. Years to go on this but I'm unsure that it will improve much.
