Loads of mushroom and earth. Plummy, smooth and just kept getting better.

Spectacular wine truly enjoyed, surprising that it was already accessible, lovely rich complex nose, lots of black fruits and chocolate, multi layered and complex, full body, rich round tannins, lots of depth, great balance and elegance with a good spice of power, a bit like a fist in a velvet glove;-) long long delicious finish. A must try and a great expression of the delicious 2010 vintage. My score 93, drink to 2032

Raspberries and star fruit on the nose push onto the palate. Tannins are a bit aggressive and can use some time. VA is a touch high along with some mild brett.

Strong nose of cognac, plum, dates, caramelized sugar, violets and port, this is a big, bold wine. Red to amber color on a medium-to-full body this palate is intense and gently tannic. Grippy but gentle, with rich red and purple fruits, with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and menthol on a long finish.

Commanderie de Bordeaux. Theme was BBQ and 2010 vintage. Fantastic event.

A very dry wine to start (lots of minerality)....definitely muscular but finely structured. Tannins are manageable and definitely improves with a bit of aeration. Worked well with cheese and crackers and likely great with food. Opened in May 2019...plenty of life left in this one.
