Supple. A tad musky. Apricot and some ginger cream. 100% Semillon. Fascinating texture ad nose.

Our #bordeaux guide said this would pair marvelously with medium spicy Indian food. We were doubtful but she’s absolutely right. Nice heady aroma of apricot, peach, balanced acidity and starting to show some of that complexity that age brings to #sauternes. It’s pretty amazing how well it stands up to Indian food or Thai which would blow away most other wines.
