Very nice Columbia Valley Syrah. Dark purple colour, aromas of blackberry, vanilla and oak. Hints of chocolate and pepper spice punch through on the palate.

Slightly disappointed after having such high hopes for this Syrah coming out of my favorite vineyard. Too fruity forward with not enough spice and dryness. Flavors consist of cherry, plum, boysenberry and oak.
