Beaujolais all night and all day. And 21 was good to this cuvee.
Sour pitted fruits (plum, cherry), some cranberry, stemmy stems and some raspberries,
This is the wine I want to drink with every meal. There should be more wine like this.

Lovely Thivin. So clearly Beaujolais from the nose which carries through the palate. Decanted 6 hours which I’d suggest at this stage. Lacking just a hint of that acid driven refreshing note on the finish. Still delicious and a great pairing with roast chicken with mushrooms to herald the (near) arrival of fall.

The nose on this is awesome- Like sticking your nose into a big bowl of macerated ripe and overripe cherries, freshly dried tabacco and Dr. Pepper... Beautiful deep garnet with some magenta.
Fresh, balanced sharp acid but with rounded edges, this is a wine that you can drink a bottle of by yourself.
I'm enjoying this more at room temp than on the cooled as some Beaujolais is served.

Decanted and drank over two days. A bit awkward initially and does not have the fruit and depth of other Thivins. Much better day 2. Maybe wait a bit before opening.
