What a way to end a night that was filled with all New World minus USA wines that totally rocked the house. This was brought out at the end of the night and it needs a good amount of air time. Swirling through the decanter, you get a mix of plum & baking spices but also more bright floral notes. Still quite young, it wasn't super tannic, but the fruit and oak still have a few years to mesh together. Should be excellent in 10+.

I could use some green peppers to accompany these weeds. Good thing I don't hate weeds.

Comes out of the bottle like a freight train - nice fruit, smokey, cedar on the finish and lots of character- soft, merlot and... then, it just fades to meh. Kind of like a bad movie: great start and a dud finish. Won't buy more but I loved the first 30 minutes.

Lots of plum - but fades quick and leaves you with a ho hum finish. Still it is a decent value.

Good value for an everyday Bordeaux. Dark purple, opaque sight. Ripe cherries, blackberries, and some dark vanilla on the nose. Jammy on the palette, medium dry, medium acid, medium body, medium- tannins, medium+ finish. Good value.

Pow! Very jammy, sharpe tones, moderate nectar, Oak throughout with a dry tart and light finish. Decanted for 2 hours, still a POW in your mouth... A lot of flavors with a aeromatic linger.

Solid drinking for an every day bottle. Just enough complexity to keep it interesting.
