Ridgecrest Vineyards Grüner Veltliner

It was quite refreshing to find Gruner at a Willamette Pinot tasting! Their family loves Austrian wine, so you can imagine they like to make their wines in a European fashion. Very refreshing nose - white flower, ginger, & lime zest. Medium plus acid, white pear, green apple skin, and white pepper to the finish. Yum!

Oregon grüner was rockin' with roast chicken tonight.

Scrumptious. Could drink all day.

Hey, I love a good Gruner and this did not disappoint. In fact it surprised me since I did not know that Chehalem produced this varietal. Very good at a great price point...

Lightly creamy body balanced by a peppery, zippy finish. Lovely.
