Decanted this 2006 for a day before drinking. I did taste when I first opened and it was good but after a day it was soft and luscious in the mouth and tasted precisely like what it is, a merlot driven Bordeaux. It paired beautifully with a hearty beef stew and then was great on its own.

Wine #2 in vertical. This was an early pour crowd favorite. It was luscious, well rounded and had great fruit. By the end of two hours this was still its own.
