Not overly complex. A little spice and a slight smoke. Hint of blackberry on the long finish. Very tasty.

Tastes like a modern northern rhône Syrah

Hmmm. I remembered this one to be tastier when I bought it Christmas 2018. One dimensional, dark tart cherry. We opened this Idaho Syrah last night to celebrate the full super moon rising above the Idaho mountains.
Shining its bright light for the curves to come down around the world, reflecting redemption, renewal and a new beginning

So this was left open for 2 days and really evolved into a better wine. Great dark fruit but more cola and forest than when opened initially. A lot of vanilla is gone. Very enjoyable.
